  11. I just built 6.1 on linux (0.99.15) with gcc-2.5.8.  I had to remove
  12. the declaration of alloca from web2c.h.  I tried to dig into this
  13. using gcc -E, but I can't explain it yet.  Could be a bug in
  14. gcc-2.5.8.
